Project Spotlight: Heirloom Diamonds into Forever Bands

We had the pleasure of getting to know this couple while helping design their dream engagement ring. When it came time for wedding bands, they made an appointment with our custom designer for a free consultation to discuss their options and visions. They brought with them a couple of heirloom rings that belonged to each of their mothers’. It’s was important to them that the diamonds from these rings were incorporated into their wedding bands.

When discussing the design, he wanted a simple but modern appearance and to include the diamond from his mother’s ring. We set his straight baguette-cut diamond low and flush into a flat, yellow gold and slightly tapered band. The sleek profile of the diamond makes it perfect for everyday wear.

FOR HERS
To go with her beautiful yellow gold oval solitaire engagement ring, she wanted a wedding band that contoured to her oval center stone. We set her round diamonds into a tapered contour band that hugs closely to her engagement ring.

From modifying and approving the digital design renderings to trying on the wax resin examples in person, this couple was able to be part of every step of the process. It was a delightful experience to help them design their dream wedding bands, incorporating their very meaningful heirloom diamonds.
